Fourteen members of our church gave up a week of their summer to help flood victims from Juneau County, Wisconsin. Several families were assisted as they helped repair foundations, painted walls, landscaping, hung wallboard, and other miscellaneous tasks. The flood waters were four to five feet and invaded people’s gardens, schools, homes, and businesses. The church worked with United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR). The participants were Bob Yoder, Tom and Karen Scheetz, Stan Yoder, Roger and Jeri Tetzloff, Mike Johnson, Paula Hills, Kirsten Hills, Doug and Theresa Camburn, Angella Rueppel, Peter Smith and Robin Schuler.
We would like to thank the congregation for supporting the mission trip team on their recent trip to Juneau County, Wisconsin.
You supported us by attending the “Souper Suppers” during the winter months and by donating your returnable bottles and cans throughout the year.
You also supported us before we left with cash donations, gas cards, snacks, letters of support and most importantly, your prayers.
Because of you, we were able to be the hands and feet of Christ to others in need.
Thank you Congregation!! We did it together.
